1984 - A PLAN FOR THE PUBLIC USE OF WILDERSTEIN

The mission for Wilderstein was clarified with guidelines that are still valid today.  According to the plan:

“The mansion will be a historic house museum incorporating the first floor, second floor bedrooms, and tower. The carriage house will be developed for adaptive reuse. The grounds will be restored using the landscape plan by Calvert Vaux, emphasizing historic preservation and nature trails. And the archival and artifact collections will be made available for research.”
