Carriage House

Efforts are underway to raise funding for the second phase restoration work on the carriage house, moving us closer to the long-term plan of integrating it into the Wilderstein experience as a Visitor & Education Center. The carriage house is an amazing building architecturally with tremendous potential for supporting Wilderstein’s continued growth and ability to better serve the community.

This next phase is focused on replacing the roof, and will also include repairing and straightening the turret. There is urgency to do this because the roof is at the end of its lifespan and failing. If steps are not taken soon to replace it, prior work to save the carriage house will have been wasted.

Our goal is to raise $500,000 by the end of 2023 and begin construction in the spring of 2024. Please consider making a generous gift in any amount to help save this important architectural treasure. Your financial support is necessary for the dream to become a reality. In so many ways, the carriage house is Wilderstein’s future!
