1993 - LARGE SCALE RESTORATION BEGINS

Wilderstein’s tower was straightened, repaired, and repainted and the attic roof replaced. The work included the first new paint on the building since 1910 and reestablished Wilderstein’s original polychrome paint scheme.

By September 1994, the tower had been structurally secured, the top two levels of the tower were restored and repainted, and the flat portion of the mansion’s roof was replaced in its entirety.
