1990 - WILDERSTEIN IS INCLUDED IN THE NEW HUDSON RIVER NATIONAL HISTORIC DISTRICT

The US Secretary of the Interior established the Hudson River National Historic Landmark District and included Wilderstein as a significant and contributing structure.

The Hudson River National Historic District is the largest national landmark district in the United States, a 36.6 square mile area that stretches along the eastern bank of the Hudson River from Clermont in the north to Staatsburg in the south.
