August 1991 - A ROADMAP FOR RESTORATION

In a decisive step towards comprehensive preservation and restoration of its buildings rather than just stabilization and repair, Wilderstein commissions a historic structures report. . The report, undertaken by the architecture firm of  Messick, Cohen, and Waite, serves as a roadmap for the restoration of Wilderstein’s main house and outbuildings and marks the transition of Wilderstein from Daisy Suckley’s residence to a fully functioning historic house museum. The report is completed by May 1992.
