2017 - THE POTTING HOUSE IS SAVED

During the winter of 1993 the potting house on the estate’s eastern edge was threatened with complete collapse; then board president Ray Armatage reported that the chimney seemed to be the only thing holding it up.  Emergency measures applied over the years stabilized the structure and kept it standing.

Between 2016 and 2017 the structure was completely restored with funds from the Reardon family. Today, the potting house has been repurposed as a small residential unit, providing a regular source of funds for Wilderstein.
